Not all “rain hats” are created equal. Choosing the right level of protection is critical to your end users’ satisfaction. We offer a tiered system to match your specific environment.

Best for: Golf, Running, Light Showers.
Tech:The fabric is treated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish. Water beads up and rolls off the surface (the “Lotus Effect”). It is highly breathable and lightweight but may soak through during extended heavy downpours.

Best for: Hiking, Outdoor Work, Commuting.
Tech:A waterproof/breathable membrane is laminated to the back of the outer fabric. It blocks water molecules from entering while allowing smaller sweat vapor molecules to escape, preventing the “sauna effect.”

Best for: Fishing, Sailing, Extreme Weather.
Tech:Even waterproof fabric leaks at the stitch holes. In this tier, we apply heat-seal tape over every internal seam, creating a completely watertight barrier. This is true technical gear.
We apply this heritage fabric to modern shapes. While the material is vintage, the fits are contemporary. Here are the four best-selling waxed products.

A streetwear favorite. Made from Nylon Taslan or Ripstop with a DWR finish. The flat bill and low profile look sleek in the city while offering genuine protection from drizzle.

The ultimate rain shield. A 360-degree brim directs water away from the neck. When fully seam-sealed, this hat is a fortress against the storm. Popular for fishing and outdoor festivals.

Classic look, modern tech. An unstructured 6-panel cap made from water-repellent poly-spandex. It looks like a traditional dad hat, but it sheds water instantly. Great for golf and corporate uniforms.

For extreme adventures. Features a wide, stiffened brim to prevent sagging when wet, and a waterproof membrane shell. Essential for hunting, hiking, and tactical operations.
Standard embroidery punches thousands of holes in the fabric, compromising the waterproof barrier. For custom waterproof hats, we recommend advanced decoration methods that maintain the integrity of the shell.

A sleek, modern look. A raised silicone logo is heat-pressed onto the surface. It creates a 3D effect similar to embroidery but is completely watertight, flexible, and lightweight.

The best choice for rugged gear. PVC is naturally waterproof and mud-resistant. We can heat-seal (glue) the patch to the hat to avoid needle holes entirely.

Safety meets branding. We use high-visibility reflective inks that bond to the nylon surface. Ideal for running caps and workwear where visibility in rain/fog is crucial.

If you must have embroidery, we can do it. We apply a specialized waterproof heat-seal tape on the inside of the crown, behind the embroidery, to reseal the needle punctures.
Custom waterproof hats are essential for outdoor industries, promotional events, and sports teams. Whether you need durable headwear for agricultural workers, outdoor sports teams, or promotional giveaways, we offer custom solutions that meet your needs.

Saltwater protection. Captains and crews need hats that withstand sea spray and heavy rain. Our non-corrosive plastic snaps and synthetic fabrics are built for the ocean.

“Rain Check” gear. Pro shops stock waterproof bucket hats and caps for players caught in a downpour. It’s a high-value item that saves golfers’ day.

Weather protection for the crew. Not every task requires a hard hat, but every worker needs to stay dry. Our waterproof work caps are essential for site supervisors, delivery drivers, and landscapers who face rain and wind during long shifts.

The “Gorpcore” trend. Fashion brands are embracing technical fabrics like Ripstop and Gore-Tex styles. A waterproof 5-panel is a staple accessory for the modern urban explorer.
Manufacturing technical headwear requires precision. Our process ensures you get the right level of protection and the correct branding method for your needs.
01
Choose your fabric. Do you need DWR (Water Resistant) for light use, or 3-Layer Membrane (Waterproof) for heavy duty use? We can send swatches to demonstrate the difference.
02
Pick the shape. Bucket hats offer the most protection, while 5-panels offer the most style. We help you match the frame to the function.
03
We create a digital proof and recommend the best logo method (e.g., Silicone Transfer). We ensure the logo application does not compromise the fabric’s water-shedding ability.
04
We provide reliable delivery timelines and comprehensive after-sales support to ensure satisfaction.

Water Repellent means water beads off the surface but can soak through in heavy rain. Waterproof means the fabric is impermeable and seams are sealed, keeping you dry even in a storm.
Yes, but carefully. We recommend hand washing with mild soap. Avoid fabric softeners or harsh detergents, as they can strip the DWR coating. Air dry only.
Yes. We use advanced microporous membranes that block water droplets from entering but allow smaller sweat vapor molecules to escape, preventing the “sauna effect.”
Seam sealing is a complex process. Our MOQ for fully seam-sealed waterproof hats is typically 300 pieces. For standard water-repellent (DWR) hats, the MOQ is lower, starting at 50 pieces.
